I am just a girl who loves God and seeks to follow Him.  These are my reflections as I ponder His Word and attempt to reflect his character.  Life is a journey and is filled with mountains and valleys but it is when we have our roots deeply planted in Christ that we will grow to be like Him.


“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us, to him be glory.”  Ephesians 3:17-21



I am married to my best friend and soul mate, Scott.  We met in bible college and I fell in love with his incredible passion for God and his love for people.  I haven’t met anyone with the ability to connect with people like he does.  It doesn’t matter what their story is, by the time he has finished their conversation, he has inspired them to be the best they can be.  He is truly a role model for me and together we have been blessed with two children. 


My daughter, Hannah, is 19 and is a joy to raise.  She is fiercely competitive and excels at whatever she puts her mind to.  She is a gifted writer, has an incredible singing voice, and is one of the most spiritually insightful people I have ever met.


My son, Micah, is 17.  His name means, “Who is like the Lord” and he lives up to this.  He is most known for his contagious smile and zeal for life.  He is talented in sports, a master at the guitar and is a powerful worship leader.


My husband and I started a nonprofit called Legacy Incorporated with a mission to build people, homes and schools around the world.  It is our heart to live out Isaiah 61:1-3.  Please visit us at www.legacyinc.org.



I was raised in a small town in North Dakota, finished high school in Nevada and went to college in California.  I received my B.A. in Church Leadership and youth pastored in the inner city of San Francisco.  I have owned a mortgage company, been a stay at home mom,  homeschooled my kids, sent them to both public and private school on different occasians, cooked, cleaned, did more laundry than I care to remember.  My life has been filled with many seasons and through it all, the Lord has remained my constant hope.



This blog is my personal spiritual journal.  I am challenged to live each day to the fullest.  Most of the time I get caught up in the mundane of each day but I am confronted with the desire to know what Christ intended when he said, “I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10b)  Please join me on this journey.  I welcome your insight and input as we walk our spiritual journeys together.
