“He said to them, ‘Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. Consider carefully what you hear,’ he continued. ‘With the measure you use, it will be measured to you – even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.'” Mark 4:21-25
Am I guilty of taking the light of God that I have received and keeping it for myself? Am I so self-focused that I fail to see those that are in darkness around me and do not bring the gift of God’s light to them?
I have been given the gift of knowing God since I was a child. Am I hoarding it? The more I give of the revelation of God, the more will be given to me…to then give out more…to then receive more. It’s the greatest form of investment.
God made us to be the answer to someone else’s prayers. We must keep our eyes open for opportunities to be God’s miracle.
