Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for our God is our refuge.

In an uncertain world, during uncertain times, life can seem unstable. You wake up wondering what the day will bring and how things might change. Our hearts crave “normal” realizing that “normal” probably never really existed and that reality was just masked a bit better than it is now.
Yet, there is one who will never change. One who is worthy of all our trust. One who desires to fill us with hope and peace. Nothing is a surprise to Him. Nothing will shake Him. Nothing is too overwhelming for Him. He is our safety, our refuge. He is the only One we can put our trust in.
When the world seems inherently wrong, our God is perfectly right. Rest in Him, may He be our joy and our salvation.
