Lord, you are my everything. In you I place my hope and my trust. Fill me and my household with joy today. I pray for your peace and contentment to overwhelm us. Help me to walk in Your ways, O Lord, to make decisions based solely upon your truth. Help my heart to not be divided but to be completely devoted to You. Help me to not be tossed by the waves of this world but to walk steadfast in You. Help me to be like Peter who, when he kept his eyes on You, walked unaffected through the storm. Teach me Your ways so that I don’t flounder; so that every step I take will be purposeful. Show me how to do Your will. I pray to have Your mindset so that I will think and act based upon an eternal perspective. To You, Lord, deserves all the glory and praise.
