Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12
The beauty of light brings the feeling of life. At times the night tends to creep into our heart. Circumstances, scarred relationships, broken dreams are all open doors for darkness to settle deep into our souls and we wonder if we will ever see light again.
And then it happens, we see a glimpse of light in the darkness and as we gaze upon the sliver of light and welcome it in, we open our arms and relish the warmth and life it brings. As the lights grows, it penetrates the deepest darkness of our souls and erases any remnants of its death. It brings life…it brings a new day…a new beginning.
The everlasting light that will erase all darkness is that of our Saviour. When his light fills our life, everything changes. New life comes, hope arrives and fresh perspectives stamp out old ways of thinking.
Follow Him…you will find life. His ways are refreshing, His ways promise new days!
